Bode George, Gbenga Daniels, Adeniran all shun Anambra PDP flag off, Dokpesi didn’t

The three aspirants from the South West, for PDP Natonal Chairmanship in the December 9th party elective Convention, all shunned the PDP gubernatorial flag off in Anambra state.
The only aspirant who graced the flag off was the South South aspirant and front line person for the position, Chief Dokpesi.
Chief Olabode George, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Prof Adeniran, all from the South West, were all conspicuously missing during Monday’s flag of in Anambra.
According to an aide of Chief Bode George who spoke on condition of anonymity, he explained that Bode George could not attend Anambra flag off because he played host to Lagos State Caretaker Committee.
“Today, the Lagos state Caretaker Committee paid a courtesy visit to Chief Olabode George. Saturday are the Wards congress elections, followed by LGA and State and then (we) pick delegates for the national convention.” Bode George’s aide explained when asked why his boss shunned Anambra.
Chief Dokpesi has always led in anything that has to do with PDP as a matter of obligation and he has made huge personal and even business sacrifices to ensure that the party’s activities, especially nationally, is given preeminent attention.
Dokpesi stood side by side Senator Makarfi attending virtually all the court hearing s both in Abuja and Porthacourt during Sheriff affliction that befell the party.
It is not clear why the others shunned the important PDP flag at Anambra but many suspect it may be connected with their probable disdain for the candidate nominated in the South East state of Anambra to the extent that some will because of a local courtesy visit shun a national state election which PDP badly needs to win to give it more advantage to win the presidency in 2019.
