Crisis rocks Edo APC as gubernatorial aspirant and woman leader resigns
All is not well with the ruling Edo APC.
Last week, a gubernatorial aspirant, Chief Agbonmwere, dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party for the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), leaving with thousands of his supporters.
Monday, foremost woman leader of the APC who was a significant APc aspirant for the 2016 gubernatorial election, Mrs Tina Agbarha, officially resigned her membership of the APC stating in her personally signed resignation letter than her decision is “irretrievable”.
Mrs Tina Agbarha was until her resignation the Deputy State Woman Leader of the APC in Edo State.
She has defected to the People’s Democratic Party.
Below is the content of her letter of resignation.

LETTER OF RESIGNATION AS MEMBER OF ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS (APC), AND THE POSITION OF (APC) EDO STATE ASSISTANT WOMAN LEADER.
I want to notify you of my resignation as member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), my position as the assistant state woman leader and member of the Executive Committee/Caucus with effect from today Monday 5th February 2018.
This my irreversible decision became imperative after due consultation with my family members and teeming supporters across the length and breadth of Edo State.
I wish to thank you and the leadership of the party for the opportunity given to me to serve with earnestly and commitment.
