Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in Anegbete, promises agricultural transformation
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is in Anegbete, Etsako Central LGA soliciting for votes among the people.
At the ancient Oliola palace of Anegbete, a riverine community in Edo state, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and the PDP chairman, Chief Dan Osi Orbih informed the traditional ruler that they were in his domain to campaign for votes, pledging that the PDP government would not disappoint Anegbete community like Oshiomhole and the APC did.
At the rally done at the Royal Square in Anegbete, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu promised the people that when elected his government would establish a fish processing and preservation industry in Anegbete to support their fishing profession. He also pledged to provide employment and empowerment for the people.
Former Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, Chief Mike Aiyegbeni Oghiadomhe, encouraged the people to support the PDP because he trust the leadership of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
A mild drama ensued at the palace of the Oliola of Anegbete where a farmer who has been standing everyday at the palace of the monarch with a placard seeking for help to start his farm was identified by Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and his Deputy, Hon John Yakubu and assisted with sums of money to enable him to start his farm, indicative of the PDP’s commitment to revamp and encourage agriculture in Edo state.
