The PDP chairman of Edo state, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, has said that Adams Oshiomhole introduced discrimination and deprivation to Edo state politics.

Speaking at the palace of Olososo of Ososo in Akoko-Edo LGA, the PDP chairman stated that Edo state was a harmonious place where every area had a sense of belonging until Adams Oshiomhole came and polarized the people, excluding anyone who was not from his village of Iyahmoh.

He alleged that during the 2007 election, Adams Oshiomhole came to Ososo lamenting about the bad state of the Okpella – Ososo road promising that when he gets into power that he would construct the road. He added that Oshiomhole placed a curse on anyone who promised to do the road but failed.

Describing Oshiomhole as a deceiver, the PDP chairman urged the people to vote for the PDP in the forthcoming election and expect a better life.

“Oshiomhole has brought discrimination and deprivation in Edo state. But Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has pledged to unite the whole state and bring prosperity to the land. My message to Adams Oshiomhole is that the gods and the people of Edo state has rejected him.” The PDP chairman said.

On his part, the PDP candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, promised to exploit the tourist potentials of Ososo and Akoko-Edo in general to grow the local and state economy. He promised to stimulate the econony to generate employment and empowerment for the people.

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu reiterated his promise to create local council development centres, if local government areas isnt possible. He stressed that Akoko-Edo is too big to be one local government area.
