The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Nwaoboshi has commended the developmental strides of Governor Okowa of Delta State line with the provisions of the state government’s SMART Agenda.
Urhokpota Reporters gathered that the Senator made the remark when he addressed to PDP faithfuls at the general meeting held in Asaba the state capital. The Senator remarked that the Governor has done wonderfully well in the governance of Delta State and so deserves to come back to Delta State Government House, come 2019 to complete and initiate more developmental projects for Delta State and her citizens.

Senator Nwaoboshi described Governor Okowa as an embodiment of love, unity and peace, not only in Delta North but Delta State and Nigeria as a whole.

On arrival to the meeting venue, Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi was almost suffocated by mammoth crowd of PDP faithfuls in their bid to exchange pleasantries with a leader of no mean repute. An indication of his acceptability by the people of Anioma extraction.

The Senator used the opportunity to express his profound gratitude for the support and solidarity given to him by His Excellency the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Party leaders both at State and National levels, National Assembly members and a host of others during his recent case with EFCC at Ikoyi High Court, Lagos.

“I am one of the Politicians that has remained steadfast in PDP and never abandoned the Party, no matter the situation” he added.
He then pledged to continue to work relentlessly for the good of PDP.

On his achievements for the people of Anioma, he said “but for time, I would have rolled out the catalogue of my achievements for my people (Delta Northerners)”. However, he said that a lot of developmental projects for Delta North would be rolled out in a couple of weeks.

Concluding his address, Senator Nwaoboshi promised each ward in Delta North Senatorial District a motorcycle and a cash donation of N100,000 for their transport to the day’s meeting in Asaba.
