A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Esan Central LGA and former APC Councillor, Hon. Felix Ibhade, an Irrua man, like Ojezua, from Ward 3, Esan Central Local Government Area have described the APC led by Obaseki and Ojezua as “the party a deceit.”

Hon. Ibhade stated this on Wednesday during an interactive session in the online platform, Esan Young Democrat (EYD) monitored by Urhokpota Reporters.

He said some of the leaders who enacted the law of that made “some people not to contest for local government election because they lost their wards” are now trying to contest for the exalted position in party after they have served in that same position “woefully”.

In his words he said;

“Few months ago, the State Working Committee under the leadership of Anselm Ojezua, during the local government elections, came up with ‘THOSE WHO LOST THEIR UNIT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTEST’

“But today those who made that guideline are also seeking for elective positions.

“I think the law of equity should come to play”. HE WHO SEEK EQUITY MUST COME WITH CLEAN HANDS”.

He went further to allege that Barr. Anselm Ojezua did not win his ward in previous elections, 2015 Presidential/National Assembly elections, House of Assembly elections and Edo State Gubernatorial elections.

“The results are there and as such he should not be allowed to contest the APC exotic (exulted) position (State Chairman) in order to stop compensating failure” – Hon Ibhade said.

Hon Ibhade added; “If I’m wrong, I charge all the Esan leaders to publish their election results on national daily (Vanguard) since 2015 to date”.

“Those who can not win should stop parading themselves as super leaders of the party in the face of the Governor and other none Esan leaders”.

Hon. Felix Ibhade to added; “Is the said Anselm the most qualified and better candidate to occupy the position, if really it is zoned to Esan?. Is he of more integrity, extrovert and philanthropist?. Pls, if it’s a Esan position, let Esan choose their choice.”
